Question 1: Is there a PDF tutorial?
Answer: Yes, the User Guide is currently being updated for the whole platform, that includes the upgrade and import tool.
Question 2: Can you tell us the recommended file size for histopathology, how big does it have to be to have excellent resolution?
Answer: It 100% depends on the microscope and format. We recommend scanning at 40X, which gives a file of 1-6GB depending on the microscope’s brand. The bigger the magnification, the bigger the file size.
Question 3: I still see the terms IDS7 and IDS7 Touch.
Answer: Yes, the terms do not disappear in the software but they will change in the literature to not create any confusion. You can use those terms if you are used to them.
Question 4: The new mouse and keyboard feature, is it the same as in the workstation (IDS7)?
Answer: Yes, the most used functions were migrated so you can use them in the touch environment without a touchscreen. This gives you access to stories and 3D labeling.
Question 5: How do I access all the guides and tools?
Answer: You can access everything at educationportal.sectra.com.
Question 6: We want to have follow-up on the licenses to visualize usage.

Pregunta 1: ¿Existe un tutorial en PDF?
Respuesta: Sí, se estará actualizando la guía de usuario para la plataforma completa que incluye la actualización y la herramienta de importación.
Pregunta 2: Nos puede dar una indicación de medida aconsejada de archivo de histopatología, ¿qué tan grande debe ser para tener excelente resolución?
Respuesta: Depende 100% del formato y el microscopio. Recomendamos escanear a 40X, lo cual da un archivo de entre 1 y 6GB dependiendo de la marca de microscopio. A mayor magnificación, mayor el tamaño de archivo.
Pregunta 3: A mí me siguen saliendo los términos IDS7 y IDS7 Touch.
Respuesta: Sí, no desaparecen en el software pero sí en la literatura para no crear confusiones. Pueden usar los términos si están acostumbrados a ellos.
Pregunta 4: ¿El nuevo uso de teclado y mouse, es igual como en la estación de trabajo (IDS7)?
Respuesta: Sí, se migraron las funciones más usadas para que puedan utilizar el espacio “touch” sin una pantalla táctil y eso también les da acceso a historias y etiquetado en 3D.

Respuesta: A todo pueden ingresar en educationportal.sectra.com.
Pregunta 6: Queremos tener seguimiento de las licencias, visualizar cómo se utiliza.
