We are making it easier to manage your own user accounts and we will soon release a new user administration management tool for Sectra Education Portal. At the same time, we will also upgrade the student account access.
The following changes will take effect as of June 18, 2021:
• Teacher, student, and table accounts will simply be called user accounts and will have standard or editor rights,
• all user accounts will have access to all content, tools, and features*, but
• only accounts assigned with the editor role, e.g. teachers, will be allowed to edit and save content.
Check out this video for a quick overview.
What is so great about this upgrade?
• Students will be able to use their own accounts to access a Sectra table,
• advanced-level students or students studying radiography will be able to access the clinical interface on their own, and
• with a suitable computer* all students will be able to access Stories created by educators.

What else do I need to know about this change?
If you already administer your own accounts online, you will notice the following changes:
• Terminal-only accounts will be changed to standard user accounts. To reflect this change, we will increase the total number of standard user accounts to ensure that you receive the correct number of accounts as per current subscription.
• The option for a terminal-only account will be removed from the user administration management tool. Note that this will be done after 18 June, but before the month of July 2021.
We are convinced that this new tool will make life simpler!
