Highlight tool
The highlight tool is used to identify and highlight structures on the cross-section and 3D anatomy panels.

Hover the cursor over an anatomical structure to reveal the structure identification at the top of the cross-section or 3D anatomy panels, or click once on an anatomical structure to highlight it.
When a structure is highlighted it appears on both the cross-section and 3D anatomy panels.
Clicking once in the background of the cross-section or 3D anatomy panels will clear all highlighted structures.
By default, structures are highlighted with a tissue-based color system.
When the highlight tool is active, a highlight options menu appears on the toolbar next to the other interactive tools.

The highlight options menu has 12 high-contrast colors to choose from.
There are also two buttons on the menu that reset the highlight tool:
- The default color button (rainbow) resets the highlight tool to tissue-based colors for structures you’re going to highlight.
- The reset button (arrows) converts all currently highlighted structures back to their tissue-based color.
